Multi-Property Examples from 'Agrarian' Farms in "Third World"






Take a look at the following pictures from . I first spotted images of this area in a picture-book called “Fragile Earth,” which included these satellite photos in its pages in the context of being related to natural disasters. These images from Aceh province in Sumatra, Indonesia, are “pre-Tsunami(Dec’04)” and were placed alongside post-tsunami images of destruction. I have actually spent hours looking closely at these, because I find inspiration in this landscape. I have not done much research about the real environmental, social, economic or food security conditions of people in this bioregion, other than finding out: this province has 68.5 people/km2 {wikiepdia}, the below images are from a “town” 17km from a city of 250,000 (Banda) and this area was host to civil war about a decade ago {ibid}.
